Texture::SizeBytes

Syntax

int Texture::SizeBytes() const;
int Texture::SizeBytes(int width, int height, int depth, int numMiplevels, TextureFormat format); [23 lines of code]

Returns the total number of bytes required by the pixel data of this texture, EVEN IF THE PIXEL DATA has not been allocated, i.e.

this variable returns the amount that would be taken up if this texture was allocated with the current parameters. Call CPUSizeBytes() or GPUSizeBytes() to compute the actual memory committed in use in CPU or GPU memory.
